Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from Nik Weis opens with matchstick and faint lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, fresh and displays nice tension. The flavor profile is crushed stone and green tea blend with notes of light lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would serve this Riesling with grilled swordfish. Enjoy – KWGTP
